Traffic is added and dropped at more locations and the service mix is more volatile which to support, requires greater flexibility and manageability from your optical transport platform. With the EKINOPS 360 optical transport platform, you can optimize your network to provide exactly the support and performance you demand. With its modular architecture and using common hardware and software across multiple form factors, the EKINOPS 360 can be configured to address any metro or enterprise network requirement.
Delivering up to 1.2 Tbps in only 2RU and 2 Tbps in 7RU, the EKINOPS 360 provides a compact form factor with a high degree of service and transport flexibility and power requirements as low as 0.3W per Gbps. With services support from 100M to 100G, EKINOPS patented T-Chip technology allows changes to the service profile with a simple firmware download while our coherent FlexRate capability is software configurable for either 100G or 200G depending on your capacity and distance requirements. Encryption capability is delivered by the PM CRYPTO module that supports standard AES-GCM 256 hardware-based encryption and Diffie-Hellman key exchange.
The EKINOPS 360 platform also supports 1-, 2- and 4- channel CWDM and DWDM fixed OADM filter, both in dual fiber and single fiber version, as well as reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexers (ROADM). Passive solutions provide a cost-efficient way to aggregate and deliver traffic over any type of network topology. Our PM ROADM solution provides additional network flexibility with support for up to eight degrees of connectivity for all 80 channels.
Low latency is delivered by the T-Chip because it uses fewer electronic components compared to typical ASIC-based systems. Combined with purpose-built dispersion compensation and FEC-less line cards, EKINOPS 360 pushes low latency to its limits.
The EKINOPS 360 platform is simple to manage and integrates easily into any management environment via SNMP or CLI and the graphical user interface.
