Ekinops’ approach is based on a risk management strategy. It aims to minimize the environmental impact of products and the processes associated with their manufacture, in all phases of the product life cycle.
During the design phase, Ekinops teams select environmentally friendly (or recycled) raw materials that can themselves be easily recycled, and the purchasing and production departments are aware of the need to limit the use of harmful substances (RoHS compliance) and substances that present a high risk to the environment (REACH compliance).
The group's production site in Leuven, Belgium, is ISO14001 certified and committed to programs to reduce water and energy consumption.
