Duties and Responsibilities
The R&D QA & Automation Engineer will:
- Develop and maintain automated tests for network equipment, web and REST applications
- Contribute to the automation platform
- Design and document test plans
- Manage Web security/penetration and scalability testing using automation
- Participate to manual and automated test campaigns
- Investigate and reproduce problems
- Discuss problem resolution with the team
- Coordinate the usage of the automation lab
- Disseminate your knowledge to help increase the skills and knowledge of the team in your areas of expertise
Profile and skills
You have the following skills:
- At least 5 years of experience in testing (ISTQB certification is a plus)
- Good Linux operating system knowledge
- Good practice of Selenium using Python and Robot framework
- Advanced Python skills. Test frameworks knowledge is a plus
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP based networks. SDN/NFV and SDWAN technology is a plus
- Experience with modern integration patterns, processes and tools (CI/CD practices)
- Excellent communication (oral, written), fluent in English.
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams/distributed teams
