Within the last decade, Ekinops has launched its innovative end-to-end open virtualization platform that allows clients to virtualize their network within a ZTP uCPE and manage it remotely using its NFV end-to-end solution.
Our NFV solution is autonomous, robust and easy to use and integrates the latest virtualization and acceleration technologies. To enhance and expand the solution, the NFV team is seeking a DPDK python engineer that will participate in enhancing the NFV OneOS-LIM performance and create new features.
Responsibilities
As a part of the NFV team, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Participate in the design and architecture of the uCPE/OneOS-LIM solution
- Propose innovative methods to enhance product performance and Quality
- Develop new features along with their automated tests and documentation
- Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements
- Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software
Profile and skills
An autonomous, proactive, DPDK python engineer with the following skills and experiences:
- You are about to finish your PhD in computer science or networking
- 3+ years of experience in Linux based environment and Python development ( DesignPatterns knowledge is a must)
- Solid experience in Networking virtualization and management(Openvswitch/OVS , Netconf ...)
- Previous experience with DPDK, if possible upstream contributions
- Previous experience with virtualized environment (KVM, docker)
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in both English and French (oral, written)
- Capacity to work in collaborative agile environment
- Ability to work well under pressure.
