Within the last decade, Ekinops has launched its innovative end-to-end open virtualization platform that allows clients to virtualize their network within a ZTP uCPE and manage it remotely using its edge NFV end-to-end solution.

Our edge NFV solution is autonomous, robust and easy to use and integrates the latest virtualization and acceleration technologies. To enhance and expand the solution, Ekinops GitOps team is seeking a Cloud DevOps software engineer who will contribute to build up our IAC (Infrastructure As Code) for the Ekinops MANO NFV running on Carrier Grade Cloud environments.

Responsibilities

As a part of the GitOps team, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Participate in the design and architecture of the NFV IAC that leverages the deployments of Ekinops NFV Compose software.
  • Propose innovative IAC design in order to sustain the pre-prod and prod environments.
  • Share the usage of the automated deployment frameworks within the team and with each NFV product teams.
  • Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving software at scale
  • Disseminate your knowledge to help increase the skills and know-hows of the team in your areas of expertise

Profile and skills

An autonomous, proactive, DevOps engineer with the following skills and experiences:

  • Engineering degree in networking and Computer Science or related field
  • Some proven experiences in Cloud systems
  • Solid experience in Linux environment
  • Able to use some of the automation scripting: Terraform, Helm, Ansible
  • Automate build and delivery process using github or gitlab pipelines
  • Automate the monitoring and alerting systems required to manage the run of the Cloud environments
  • Know-hows in Python development
  • Previous experience Linux system administration is necessary
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Fluent in both English and French (oral, written)
  • Capacity to work in collaborative agile environment
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
