Duties and Responsibilities
As part of the HR team of 10 people, reporting to the Group HR Director, you will have the following responsibilities:
- Roll out strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
- Cover administrative tasks for Belgian employees (106 people including plant workers)
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues
- Input and monitor date in HRIS (Cornerstone)
- Nurture a positive working environment
- Handle global HR programs (Performance cycle, MBO assessment, competencies evaluation, etc.) for a dedicated global population (Manufacturing)
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management
Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as HR Manager
- People oriented and results driven
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases
- Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
- Degree in Human Resources or related field
