Job Context

Duties and Responsibilities  

As part of the HR team of 10 people, reporting to the Group HR Director, you will have the following responsibilities:  

  • Roll out strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Cover administrative tasks for Belgian employees (106 people including plant workers) 
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other issues 
  • Input and monitor date in HRIS (Cornerstone) 
  • Nurture a positive working environment 
  • Handle global HR programs (Performance cycle, MBO assessment, competencies evaluation, etc.) for a dedicated global population (Manufacturing) 
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics 
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management 

Requirements and skills 

  • Proven working experience as HR Manager  
  • People oriented and results driven 
  • Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics 
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases 
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills 
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships 
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices 
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field

  • Curious and autonomous with a growth mindset, wishing to contribute to the HR function structuration and development. 
  • Eager to build and roll out initiatives.
